Jeff Garner , designer of Prophetik and published poet!

`I settled for a cafe instead of an unknown
I settled for a job instead of a poem
I settled for a damsel in distress rather than my love
I settled for life instead of taking life by the horns....`

Then it all changed, eight years ago ! thank god for us because this years collection from Prophetik is the best! A sustainable mens and womenswear label Prophetik is focused on enviromentally friendly materials including organic cottons, hemp, flax, Greenspun (recycled bottles) and organic pigment dyed gots certified fabrics and I love it check link on Jeff Garner

Bags Bags Bags Bags

One of my most favourite things and I guess actually about half of the UK`s female populations favourite thing is bags! I mean the more zips and pockets the better! In fact organisation is paramount beauty as well! So these too are of my favourites that cover Bags from those different angles!

Sam Ubhi recycled clutch is just too gorgeous luminous eye catching oozing with glamour it will be hitting Fenwicks Bond Street soon so watch out!!!

Claire at Bobelle has also come out with a smart solution. Her NEW bag is designed to organise you and beautifully, I mean there are zips for receipts and pockets for loose change and girly bits all outside and that's even before you get into the main proper bag. Shown here in blue it also comes in Schiparelli type pink and a lovely sedate brown!
I am so loving this ! check out her website for Stockists.

The MADE-BY jargon buster finally!!

Ok so do your know your CSR from your Sustainability!

Well you will do now because MADE-BY have taken that step and decided to do something about it. It was Vanessa Friedman that through the gauntlet `every revolution needs a language` and the MADE-BY jargon buster explains and defines commonly used terms such as green`,`sustainability` and `natural` in simple, easy to understand language.

The 2010 MADE-BY Jargon Buster works to dispel much of the confusion
around some of the terms that are becoming more commonly used
throughout an evolving global fashion industry. So just in case you were wondering .

CSR - is the acronym for Corporate Social responsibility, which is a company policy to show internally and externally, the company's objectives regarding their environmental and social standards.

Shibin Vasudevan believes in the value of things and his research taught him even dust could be a valued material. Oh yes this shirt you see above is made from dust taken from a tumble dryer filter, surprised!
